Claim. Because Satan occupies the midway position between God and humankind — the realm of indirect dominion (accomplishments through the Principle) — True Parents must demolish the walls at every level (individual through world) to reconnect indirect with direct dominion.
Elaboration. SMM diagrams the cosmic geography: ‘God is therefore above, humankind is below, and Satan holds the middle ground. This is how satanic walls have emerged’ (Section 4. The Authority and Mission of the True Parents Why do True Parents come to hu- mankind on earth? They come to make what the people will like the most: that is, to make you into True Parents – little). The ‘middle ground’ is the dominion based on accomplishments through the Principle — i.e., the indirect dominion that should govern the growth-stage period before completion (see formation-growth-completion-stages).
The providential history is rationalized accordingly: God developed religions (Judaism, then Christianity) precisely to reconnect Himself with humankind across Satan’s wall. True Parents inherit and finish this work by demolishing walls ‘within individuals, families, tribes, peoples, nations, the world and even the spirit world.’ SMM frames this as a duel: ‘Satan, for his part, thinks about how to block this continuing work of God. The two have been dueling this way… I have been standing between God and Satan, constantly working to get rid of the latter.’
A critical methodological line: ‘Toward Satan we have always upheld the Principle with love.’ indemnity must be principled — i.e., it cannot exploit Satan’s tactics or shortcuts, or Satan retains the right of accusation. This is why the suffering course in Section 3 is non-negotiable: only principled, love-based confrontation can dissolve the wall without creating new accusable conditions.
The claim sets up the comparative-religion ambition of Section 4’s earlier passage (‘embraces all of Christianity, Catholicism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Islam’): religions are providential because they were God’s repeated attempts to breach the wall. True Parents complete what religions began.
