Question. Ch 1’s three-loves-required structure (§4.3.1, anchored in dp-three-original-loves-parental-conjugal-childrens) frames unmarried life as structurally incomplete — none of the three loves can be fully realized without conjugal union. Ch 2’s dp-commandment-binds-only-during-immaturity adds that perfected conjugal love is ontologically inviolable. Together these raise a christology hinge: did Jesus’s unmarried ministry complete the purpose-of-creation, or was his physical-conjugal completion structurally deferred to the Second Advent?

Why it matters. This is the single most load-bearing christology question in DP. The answer determines (a) whether Jesus’s first coming was complete or partial, (b) what work the Second Advent is structurally required to do, and (c) the entire true-parents doctrine — including its claim that a married physical-conjugal Messiah is necessary for the final restoration.

Answer (Ch 4). No — Jesus’s unmarried ministry did not complete the purpose of creation, and this is why the Second Advent is structurally required.

Per dp-cross-grants-spiritual-salvation-only-not-physical: humans were created in both spirit and flesh, the fall happened spiritually and physically, so full salvation requires both. When the people led Jesus to the cross instead of uniting with him in the flesh, the physical-conjugal mission was cut short. Jesus’s body was struck down before physical redemption could be accomplished; original-sin continues to be transmitted through lineage even among devout Christian families.

Per dp-second-advent-required-to-complete-physical-salvation: “to uproot the original sin, which he could not remove through the crucifixion, and to complete the work of physical salvation, Jesus must come again on earth.” God’s Will to restore the Kingdom on earth is “absolute and unchangeable.” The Second Advent is thus not an apocalyptic flourish but the structural completion of what Jesus’s first coming could not finish — and DP’s true-parents doctrine develops the physical-conjugal completion in Part 2.
