Elaboration. SMM makes the restoration frame explicit: “Human beings are responsible for preventing the species created by God from becoming extinct. How many species have human beings brought to extinction? There are 3,600 species of fish in the Pantanal. I have made a fish farm, and I can multiply them at any time, in places around the world that have a similar environment, so that they never will become extinct” (2.2. The ocean providence centering on South America, 300-88, 1999.3.1). The scope extends beyond fish: “We must quickly care for and restore the creation that perished due to the Fall … We should make 1,500 separate bird museums, and also insect museums. Once these museums are made, the people of the world will visit Jardim as an educational center for children” (294-56, 1998.6.10). The museum is not preservation but active species-recovery infrastructure.
