Claim. God’s second blessing — true parenthood, producing one God-centered family — is being restored via two mechanisms operating in the present age. Internally, religions raise spirituality and converge cultural spheres toward a Christian-centered global ethos. Externally, wars and ideological conflict separate Satan’s claims from God’s people, leaving Heaven’s side dominant.
Elaboration. Per 4.2. Signs of the Restoration of the Second Blessing: “Christianity should renew the world as the one global family which God purposed from the time of creation” — Christianity is the central religion because its purpose is “to receive and honor the True Parents of humanity, through whom all people can be reborn as good children.” The convergence is providential, not accidental.
External separation operates through history’s conflicts. “Conflicts and wars are unavoidable during the course of the providence to re-establish the reign of good.” Wars between good and evil sovereignties are providentially constructive; wars within the side of good are destructive. The Old Testament examples — Israel destroying the seven Canaanite tribes, Saul punished for sparing Amalekites, the northern kingdom delivered to the Assyrians when it turned evil — show the same logic: “to obliterate the sovereignty of evil and restore the sovereignty of good.”
The phase has now reached world-scale. DP frames the 1996 democracy-vs-communism confrontation as the global terminus of this separation process — the “two opposing powers” that “can by no means peacefully coexist.” Where this ends in terms of post-1991 verification is contested; the structural claim about Satan-separation through conflict is what the atomic preserves.
