Unification Thought’s answer to “what is a human being?” is that an original human being is simultaneously a being with Divine Image (resembling God’s universal and individual image), a being with Divine Character (resembling God’s heart, logos, and creativity), and a being with position (occupying subject-object positions resembling those in the Original Image).
Elaboration. The Theory of the Original Human Nature is explicitly a study of “the image of what the original human beings would have been like, if the human fall had not happened” (Theory of the Original Human Nature).
