Claim. The standard and structure of Unification logic is the inner developmental four-position-foundation in God’s Original Sungsang — where give-and-receive action between Inner Sungsang (intellect, emotion, will) and Inner Hyungsang (ideas, concepts, laws) centering on purpose (based on Heart) forms Logos.

Elaboration. Sang Hun Lee identifies the architectural foundation of Unification logic (Structure of the Formation of Logos and the Inner Developmental Four Position Foundation).

The Inner Sungsang contains intellect, emotion, and will. The Inner Hyungsang contains ideas, concepts, laws, and mathematical principles. Between these two, give-and-receive action takes place — but not arbitrarily. It centers on purpose, which is itself established centering on Heart (love). Through this give-and-receive action, Logos (the Word, the plan) is formed.

Critically, the plan formed is ‘the plan for actualizing the purpose of love.’ This is what Lee calls the logical structure: the inner four position foundation of Logos formed through inner give-and-receive action to actualize the purpose of love.

The consequence for human thinking: ‘Human beings should also form inner four position foundations for the sake of actualizing the purpose of love, in likeness to the logical structure of the Original Image. Thus, thinking should be carried out in order to realize love.’

This is more than analogy. Because the inner developmental four position foundation in God is the prototype and human thinking is made in its likeness, the structure of right thinking is fixed — it is not merely conventional. Deviating from this structure is not just intellectual error but a violation of the logic of creation itself.

This claim does significant work later: it grounds the universal status of the give-and-take law (because all thinking instantiates the inner four-position foundation), it sets up the unity of theory and practice (because inner and outer four-position foundations form the two stage structure of creation), and it provides the standard of thinking that Lee says formal, dialectical, and transcendental logic lack.
